What should you talk about?

When it comes to marketing your product or service, how do you decide what features and benefits you should promote?

Well, if you eat-your-own-dog-food, then you certainly would have some favorite features… And if you helped think of an idea and push it into the product, you certainly would hold that dear to your heart.

But, another way to find out what you should market is to simply listen… Listen to your customers. As they become more acquainted with what you offer, they will stumble upon  features that benefit them.

Sometimes, those will be the features that you may have overlooked…. but they may make your customers the happiest.

When you hear their happiness, then go make sure that everyone else knows about that feature and the benefits that it can bring them.

Thus, I leave with a warning: If you have your ears open, marketing ideas may come rushing in.
